While I was in college in the small town of Waco (known for the compound incident, although technically, that happened in Central, not Waco, and yes, I did visit the site along with the original Dr. Pepper bottling plant before graduation), two large movie theaters came to town (making the one, miniscule theater with sticky floors--I once lost a flip-flop on those floors--a dollar theater).
