Hi Heather -- this article was so good for me to read, given the emphasis on death to self that God is about in me of late. (So good to be sisters with you in this right now!) In fact, I copied the prayer that you shared from the Book of Common Prayer in a little sticky note on my desktop, so I can be reminded of it daily. The line that speaks most resoundingly to me right now: "Deliver us in our various occupations from the service of self alone."
