This one goes out to the ones who write SF

Because I know and love so many of you. This blog post at Guardian is in your world. Or worlds. Or space station.

God v. Satan in Deep Space

One of the beauties of SF and Fantasy literature is that they can deal with theological, social, and other issues without the labels. For example, immigration issues are dealt with when an alien species lands on earth. Or the made-up religion may be a guise for dealing with religion period (and things such as what do you do about good and evil or about the idea of having a God to whom you must answer).

I've read plenty of SF/Fantasy books that deal with religion - but not Christianity per se - usually a made-up religion of their choice or something based on old world Paganisms.
